Mr. Lu Hao is an in-depth witness of China's urbanization process and has contributed to a number of construction projects with far-reaching impact in the industry. In his more than 30 years of continuous practice, he has created many outstanding works of industrial significance, such as Alila Wuzhen, Beijing One Sino Park, Four Seasons Hotel at West Lake and Beijing Majestic Mansion, and promoted the birth of OoEli (Comprehensive Art Park), a landmark project.
As a distinguished leader and architect, he has an in-depth understanding of contemporary urban life and market development in Asia, and is committed to incorporating the intrinsic value of architecture, seeking the resonance of architectural value and urban value, and injecting long-lasting vitality into projects. Lu Hao believes that the vitality of architecture should transcend form and language, and manifest its value in the dual dimensions of time and space. His philosophy has a profound influence on the creations of GOA’s design team. His works show a strong "recognizability" derived from Chinese culture and history in the abstract modern language. Over the years, he has been recognized by many architectural awards, including the World Architecture Festival (WAF), the ABB Leaf Awards, and the Arcasia Awards for Architecture.
