The presentation gallery of “Cityscape100·Jiabaidao” has recently opened to the public. Occupying the final residential parcel in the core of Putuo’s Technology & Finance Cluster, the project stands at the confluence of the Changfeng Eco-Business District. Guided by a forward-looking vision, Shanghai Jiabai Dao creates an iconic, high-caliber residence that fosters community while integrating with an adjacent art center and mixed-use podium to form a symbiotic, mixed-life landmark.

Master-planning is driven by the desire to draw nature into every level. Sunken courtyards, cascading terraces, and rooftop gardens interlace horizontally and vertically, allowing architecture and landscape to grow through one another and transform the tight urban footprint into a “garden residence” within the city.

The top four floors introduce a breakthrough typology: three “sky courtyard villas.” Each villa is wrapped by a private terrace oriented in a different direction, ensuring seclusion while delivering expansive outdoor living. Inside, a 7.2 m double-height dining-living volume amplifies spatial luxury; both communal areas and the master suite are scaled for uncompromising comfort. This internal complexity drives sculptural intricacy. By exposing every terrace and reducing the façade to a disciplined kit of simple elements, the design reconciles volumetric recesses and projections into a coherent whole—function and form perfectly aligned, the exterior reading crisp and powerful.
Large flat-floor units feature corner living rooms that pivot toward the best views; floor-to-ceiling glazing dissolves the boundary between interior and panorama. Arcing, slender metal horizontals lend the façade a light, fluid rhythm, while warm metallic tones paired with glass reinforce a contemporary cadence.
