Wuzhen Dayuan Youth Plaza is located at Wuzhen Township, Tongxiang City, Zhejiang Province, with a linear distance of two to three kilometers from the famous tourist destinations Wuzhen Xizha and Wuzhen Dongzha. On its south lie a number of projects developed by YADA, including Alila Wuzhen, Bailu Hall, a rehabilitation center, a commercial street, a culture and art hall and Yayuan Community.

Functionally, the project is composed of two major parts, including business and an apartment hotel. The transport of the apartment hotel is totally independent. Overall, the design of the project features two systems, namely, “blocks” and “flowing lines”, to create a variety of dwelling forms. Riverside business, block-based business, and semi-enclosed squares represent diversified forms of spaces and inject new vitality into the city. The whole construction is characterized by low-rise buildings in the south and low-rise ones in the north, thus avoiding the oppressive impact of high-rise buildings on spaces along street sides.

For this project, we hope to balance the privacy of its functions and the openness of public interfaces within the limited area of land and integrate it with the traditional lifestyle and urban conveniences of Wuzhen.
