Peach Blossom Town, located on Tianmushan Road, an arterial street of Hangzhou, is 19 kilometers away from the West Lake. It is surrounded by two national forest parks, Wuchaoshan Mountain Park and Xiaoheshan Mountain Park, and Xixi Tourism Cultural Scenic Spot, also known as the "Second West Lake of Hangzhou".

The renovation is located on the central core area of Peach Blossom Town which links the north part to the south part of the Town. It is also the first part of the Town to be put into service. The business type of the commercial center is slow-life blocks mainly including catering, along with living installations mainly including supermarkets, Yile College, and teenager’s activity centers.

Based on the current situation, the designer adds corridors with a width of about 3.5 meters to build all-weather pedestrian passageway between the north and the south, connecting each monomer building. The turning and enclosing of corridors naturally define the clear courtyard relationship, forming a continuous and active courtyard and square area. The designer creates a gray space in architecture by combining cornices with corridors, which eases the isolated relationship between interior and exterior. Meanwhile, cornices and corridors also add more area to the second floor, and are combined with external landscape renovation to create a business landscape with abundant layers. The designer adds steel roofs to the sunken courtyard to offer shelter from the wind and rain, guide the direction of the flow of people and highlight the dramatic spatial features. The designer makes the full use of supermarkets and commercial spaces, to create a commercial atmosphere of small town fair.

The renovation of the project aims to maximize the potential advantages on the basis of fully satisfying function requirements, striving to create a comfortable and pleasant town center with a strong business atmosphere.
