The Tiantaishan Snow Park is at an altitude of 800m within Tiantai Mountain, a 5A National Tourist Attraction celebrated for its religious significance and breathtaking landscapes. As the first winter sports-themed amusement park in Taizhou City, this project combines sports activities and cultural tourism within an appealing architectural design.

The façade's design abstracts the form of a lotus, a symbol of Buddhist culture, into a geometric pattern, adding a touch of purity to the architectural expression within the tranquil mountain landscape. This folding envelope utilizes white perforated and solid aluminum panels to generate a dynamic play of light and shadow that changes with the light. Each façade element features a staggered "hexagon" texture reminiscent of delicate snowflakes.

Adhering to a site-specific adaptation principle, the ski routes are planned to align with the mountain's natural contours, minimizing the need for excavation, construction, and associated costs. A sequence of expansive outdoor platforms connects the structure and exterior roads. These platforms, with their curves resembling a gracefully wrapped ribbon, mitigate the visual impact of the architecture and offer multiple vantage points to appreciate the scenic beauty while enhancing the lower-level spatial experience.

The indoor ski area spans approximately 15,000㎡ and is divided into three main functional zones: the service, the ski, and the snow entertainment. The cold zone comprises about two-thirds of the total area and includes standard ski slopes, recreational facilities, a youth play area, a landscape garden, and an ice theater. Along the boundary between the cold and warm zones are expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and cozy tea chambers, inviting guests to relax and offering views of the skiing and entertainment areas.
