The project is located in Yuhang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang province. Its landscape design is themed “Falling Shadow on the Jade Lake”, “Seeking Road to Hongqiao”, “Watching the Sky in Jade Garden”, “Cloudscape in the Pearl Pool”, “Lotuses in a Breeze”, “Discussing Dao at Xingtan”, “Roars of Two Cascades”, “Golden Imprints”, “Meditation in the Lotus Garden” and “Soul Searching among Bamboos”, in an attempt to create a poetic office park full of scenes.

In order to extend the memory of Hupan University, these special scenic spots in the old campus will be built in the new campus. By setting a banana scenic spot at Yuanxiang Hall and designing flagstone paths and water source spots at Lianyuan Siyuan, the most touching details of the old campus will be presented in the new campus so as to pass on the memory.

The design is mainly divided into four aspects: The first is to shape the space spirit of the academy, which endows each space with different characteristics through the study of different behaviors, such as learning, communication and leisure. The second is to create the atmosphere of an ancient academy by drawing inspirations from paintings and cultural implications in creating landscapes and learning from the literary elements in Chinese classical gardens. The third is to pay equal attention to inheritance and innovation, and bring the salient features of Hupan University’s new campus into the design of the new campus. The fourth is to learn from nature and emphasize the integration of small buildings, decentralized layout and landscapes, so that artificial construction and the original ecological environment coexist in harmony.
