地处杭州云城门户位置的杭州西动车所上盖区域将建设一座54班规模的九年一贯制学校,这也是国内最早的动车所上盖学校项目之一。goa大象设计于今年3月投标获得该学校地块的设计权。
学校整体位于杭州西动车所的10m盖板之上,面临着与其他盖上项目相同的挑战:盖板形态狭长,与周边环境割裂。因此,学校的设计首先在“站城融合、站校同构、城校共生”的规划愿景之下,消除环境割裂,缝合城市空间,将校园与上盖区域内立体复合的公共空间及多维的慢行系统链接起来。
路易斯·康曾说过,学校始于在一棵树下分享认知。校园本身的设计概念受此启发,以“在树林里奔跑-在树林里学习-在树林里成长”为线索,化用树木与森林的意象,构建起一座与自然交融、激发学习创造力、承载成长记忆的校园。层层台地形成的景观空间如根结盘固,巧妙衔接了10m与16m标高的上下盖板;主干通道如同枝干伸展,联通各功能空间;教学空间与公共空间则若枝杈树叶,穿插组合形成树冠。被动遮阳、垂直绿化、海绵城市、雨水花园、光伏屋顶等可持续策略让校园建筑实现了能源自循环,也将生态教育融入日常场景。
Located at the gateway of Hangzhou Cloud City, a 54-class, nine-year (primary and junior secondary) school will be built atop the Hangzhou West EMU Depot – one of China's earliest school projects constructed over a high-speed rail depot. GOA (Elephant Design) won the design bid for this school site in March of this year.
The entire school sits atop the 10-meter cover slab of the Hangzhou West EMU Depot, facing challenges common to such over-depot developments: a long, narrow slab form and disconnection from the surrounding environment. Therefore, guided by the planning vision of "Station-City Integration, Station-School Synergy, and City-School Symbiosis," the design first aims to bridge environmental divides and stitch together urban spaces. It connects the campus with the multi-dimensional public spaces and intricate pedestrian systems within the over-depot development zone.
Louis Kahn once said, "A school began with a man under a tree... sharing his understanding." Inspired by this notion, the school's design concept follows the narrative of "Running in the Woods – Learning in the Woods – Growing in the Woods." It employs the imagery of trees and forests to create a campus immersed in nature, one that sparks learning creativity and cradles memories of growth.
Landscaped terraces, resembling intertwining roots, cleverly bridge the 10-meter and 16-meter cover slabs. The main circulation paths stretch like branches, connecting various functional spaces. Teaching areas and public spaces interlace like twigs and foliage, forming a cohesive canopy. Sustainable strategies—including passive shading, vertical greening, sponge city principles, rain gardens, and photovoltaic roofing—enable the campus buildings to achieve energy self-sufficiency while integrating ecological education into everyday settings.
