Located in Dingqiao sector of Hangzhou, Xizi Wisdom Industrial Park is a comprehensive wisdom industrial park integrating scientific innovation office, business conference, leisure and entertainment. The project is divided into three parts: the main plot of Hangguo, the reconstruction of old plant and the eastern plot.

The main plot of Hangguo adopts cluster arrangement, with each cluster configured with different types of courtyard space. The space between clusters penetrates each other, with interfaces organically connected. A diamond-shaped conference center is set up in the center of the plot, which, combined with the circular square on the south side, organically integrate different functions of the plot, forming a vitality center of the industrial park. Three high-level clusters adopt different façade textures to embody their different characteristics. Simple and upright vertical lines and horizontal lines full of tension, as well as flexible and vivid staggered window sash create the façade characteristics of different clusters and match their respective functions. Multi-layered façade adopts the warm-colored face brick, with stagged and well-aligned division. The conference center adopts warm-colored perforated panel with an identifiable pattern to highlight its signature feature.

The old plant of Hangguo is located on the south side of the plot. The relocation of industrial facilities of the decades-old plant provides the opportunity to revitalize the old plant. Under the precondition that the original main structure of the plant remains basically unchanged, the designer redefined the internal functions and integrated large-size supermarket, commercial facilities and parking structure so as to create a unique commercial atmosphere through the creation of public space. The grand roof incorporates commercial atrium which connects two main squares from south to north, and is connected with the plot on the east side through the commercial inner street of the main plot of Hangguo, forming an orderly integration of commercial flow line of the plot. The façade design of the old plant tries to add accessible façade elements on the basis of the original industrial plant, ensure the integrity of façade through configuration of warm-colored perforated aluminum panel, and create the overall commercial and entrance images through the changes in the rhythm of the façade and the large-scale awning, so as to ensure that the project has a certain visibility along the street.

Serving as the image of the entire Wisdom Industrial Park, the eastern plot of Hangguo as the entrance on the east side is designed with an open space to shape an entrance square with a strip arc glass roof to guide the flow of people. The design of image tower and glass roof enhances the relation between the entrance square and the commercial inner street on the west side. In order to build up the commercial atmosphere of the entrance, the architectural image is relatively flexible, and features natural transition to the arc awning, forming a continuous spatial interface.
