Hangzhou Internet of Things Industrial Incubator Binjiang District is located in Binjiang District of Hangzhou City, with close proximity to Jiangnan Avenue. Given that it’s Binjiang District’s major transportation hub connecting the downtown areas of the city, the architects, with Jiangnan Avenue as the major landscape background, design three tower buildings of varying heights and intervals to form an elegant skyline and avoid the problem that any view might be blocked between buildings. From different angles, one can clearly identify the silhouette of each building. In this way, a new landmark is built on the basis of an ingenious control of the aesthetics of the shape.

The shape of the site is concave, and there is a church about 50 meters high at the location of the recess. To show respect for the existing building and maintain the maximal distance from the church, the four high-rise office buildings are laid out in a U shape. The main buildings are separated and joined by corridors, and the church is surrounded by interior sceneries, which are connected to the park through overhead structures to form the entire landscape.

Near the plot is a neighborhood center to be developed. According to the requirements of the regulatory plan, the land parcel will be a new development. To ensure the integrity of the visual appearance of the city, the architects carefully study the relationship between towers that might be built at the site of the neighborhood center and the building cluster of the plot through a simulation analysis and ensure that the design plan for Hangzhou Internet of Things Industrial Incubator Binjiang District are compatible with the neighborhood center, whether the towers are to be built or not. 

The buildings, each looking streamlined, neat and graceful, are cleverly joined to form the integral building cluster. In the meanwhile, tower buildings, based on a consistent block separation, look distinctive and imposing. The exterior walls of the construction are made of dry-hanging granite, glass curtain walls and metal lines. In this way, the entire complex appears streamlined and full of vigor and vim, presenting a good image of Binjiang New Town.
