Haikou Wuyuanhe Intelligent Creative Collective (ICC) is a science and technology industrial cluster located adjacent to Wuyuanhe National Wetland Park. With a core emphasis on ecological priority, the design centers around climate adaptation, public integration, and compound greening. Following the Park-oriented Development (POD) concept, it seeks to maximize the preservation of the original wetland park and incorporate healthcare, recreation, social, and business facilities within an eco-friendly framework.

The master plan establishes a north-south green axis and an east-west vitality axis to connect different plots within the site. These axes divide the park into four main zones: headquarters offices, industrial services, research and design, and innovative finance, creating a circular economy industrial chain encompassing service, incubation, research and development, production, and exhibition. The open cluster-based structure, human-scale design, and diverse spatial combinations facilitate the fusion of commercial, cultural, recreational, and supporting services, establishing a dynamic and convenient 5-minute service circle. With its all-day functionality, the park becomes an urban parlor embraced by nature.

The open green spaces and slow circulation networks between clusters generate a dynamic and accessible ecological landscape system. Integrating waterfront architecture with the surrounding natural resources forms an inviting and vibrant water edge. Thus, the project reveals a vast, boundaryless park.

The design integrates sustainable development strategies. The architectural facades address Haikou's tropical climate by balancing sun shading and scenic views demands. The ground level incorporates skylights and lush greeneries, enabling natural light penetration and improved ventilation. This creates a more comfortable office environment and contributes to the concept of a sponge city.
