Located in the Zhijiang area of Hangzhou City, The Kidult project is an avant-garde modern community suitable for the elderly, with the aim for a new exploration into the existing and future retirement pattern in China. 

Through in-depth research into the particular situation of the project as well as retirement pattern popular locally and internationally, the architects started the design after establishing three major concepts, including a community for mixed ages, a comprehensive set of supporting facilities and amenities, and architectural design suitable for senior citizens. A vigorous community for senior citizens should not just be a place only for the elderly to live in; instead, people of all age brackets should be accommodated to invigorate the community. Therefore, a wide variety of distinctive products are designed for the project to meet the living needs of people of different ages. Besides, varied supporting facilities and amenities are laid out in the podium on the ground floor, and the open floor to ensure a convenient life and satisfaction of senior citizens’ diversified needs for activities. Last but not least, based on the changes in the physical characteristics of the elderly at different ages, design details targeting senior citizens are integrated into different parts of the construction to create a veritably suitable community for the elderly in all aspects.
