Recently, the results of the China Construction & Engineering Luban Awards co-organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China and China Construction Industry Association were announced. GOA’S entry, Camphorwood Mansion, was honored with a Luban Award, making it the only residential project in Wuxi that won the award.



The China Construction & Engineering Luban Awards (Excellent National Projects), also known as the Luban Awards, is the highest honors recognizing high-quality architectural projects in China. Founded in 1987, the Luban Awards celebrates and recognizes new projects contracted, completed and put into use in China by Chinese construction companies. To be a winner, a project must meet the urban planning requirements and applicable national and ministerial design standards. It must be “advanced and reasonable” by provincial or ministerial standards and represent the advanced level of Chinese residential architectures. The presentation of the award to Camphorwood Mansion embodies the industry’s high recognition of GOA’s design.
