On the evening of June 30, 2018, Qing Zhou, at the invitation of Bricks Team, an association of architects at San Francisco Bay Area, arrived in San Francisco to have a meeting with local architects there on behalf of GOA. She gave an overview of GOA’s development over the past 20 years and its architectural practices across China. As GOA had just finished the printing of two new books, Qing Zhou shared the results, and the architects present became the first readers of GOA 2012-2018 and Gravity.



The discussion was very lively that night, and lasted from 6 o'clock in the evening to 10:30 at night. The architects present included representatives from famous architectural firms such as SOM, Gensler, and Smith Group, and independent entrepreneurs. They demonstrated great interest in architecture practices in the Chinese architecture sector, and shared their views and ideas about difficult topics. The atmosphere was amicable and harmonious.
