2017 China Hotel Architecture & Area Efficiency Optimization Forum, as one of the most important annual events for the hospitality sector, was held at Shanghai Marriott Hotel Riverside from November 23 to 24, 2017. GOA was invited to attend the forum and made a keynote speech.

The attendees discussed the core topic of how to improve the unique appeal and value of a hotel building in the context of the hospitality industry’s diversification and refinement trends, as well as the increasing market competition. Ms. Qing Zhou, a senior architect with GOA, explained in depth the design and construction process of ALILA Wuzhen, which will soon be completed. She discussed how to maximize the value of a hotel building through an excellent design despite a limited budget and constraints of natural resources. Other speakers included experts from hotel groups such as Banyan Tree, Capella, Regent, and Blossom Hill, as well as representatives from well-known international architectural firms such as Genslerand Arup. More than 200 representatives from local and international hotel groups, real estate developers and architectural firms attended the forum.
