王彦先生毕业于苏黎世联邦工业大学（DIPL.Arch.ETH Zurich），是英国皇家特许注册建筑师(RIBAChartered Architect), 并受聘于同济大学建筑城规学院，担任建筑系客座教授。

王彦先生曾多次在LEAF欧洲建筑师论坛、WAF世界建筑节、中国建筑学会等组织的奖项评选中载誉而归。主要建筑作品包括上海油雕院美术馆、福建鼎立雕刻馆、丰盈·耕石艺术馆、江南布衣物流中心、张謇故里小镇及展览馆等。

设计实践之外，王彦先生深入建筑教学，自2014年起任同济大学建筑城规学院建筑系客座教授，倡导中国城市微更新，并受邀参加威尼斯双年展，韩国首尔双年展，GSD中国当代建筑展等国内外重要展览活动，其著作广泛发表于《DETAIL》《时代建筑》《建筑学报》等国内外专业媒体。

Mr. Wang Yan is a Master of Architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (Dipl. Arch. ETH Zurich), a member of Union International des Architectes (UIA), and a winner of the 40 Under 40 Chinese Young Architect Award. Wang Yan graduated from the Department of Architecture of Tongji University in 2001 and obtained a Master degree of Architecture at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (Dipl. Arch, ETH Zurich) in 2004.

He has been honoured with multiple international awards of prestigious organisations such as LEAF, WAF and Architectural Society of China for his representative works, among which SPSI Art Museum, Dingli Art Museum, Fengying Stone Art Museum, JNBY Warehousing Logistics Park and Cultural Tourism Town and Exhibition Gallery in the hometown of Zhangjian.

In addition to his design practice, Wang Yan also serves as a visiting professor at CAUP of Tongji University since 2014, advocating the micro-renewal of Chinese cities. He has been invited to importnat exhibitions including Venice Biennale, Seoul Biennale, GSD Contemporary Architecture in China. His works have been published in DETAIL, Time Architecture, Architectural Journal and other professional medias home and abroad.
