杭州嘉里城是由嘉里建设打造,集住宅馥源庭、服务式公寓、商业、办公及酒店为一体的城市综合体项目。项目地块沿东新路分布,东侧是住宅、公寓、超甲级办公楼以及集市和街区商业;西侧由盒子商业、酒店以及超甲级办公楼组成。goa大象设计完成了东侧住宅馥源庭与服务式公寓的规划与建筑设计。

嘉里城东西两侧分别是建于上世纪50年代的杭氧、杭锅老厂区,它们见证了工业时代的兴盛和转型,是老杭州人的共同记忆。项目位于拱墅区文晖板块,总建筑面积超25万㎡,用地是两个老厂区间的链接纽带,也是区政府“大和平商圈”规划的核心区域。面对市中心、旧工业遗存的独特场地条件,设计需有机融入周边城市环境、平衡高密度混合开发中的公共与私密需求,同时延续场地的工业记忆。

住宅区规划承袭项目总体规划中“流动性和连通性”的原则,向城市让渡出连续的公共空间,由此实现了一条连接杭锅厂区、商业、杭氧厂区的公共步道。地上空间采用半围合与点板结合的布局,结合住宅首层的架空设计,与外侧商业街有机融合;地下则通过地库或地下商业连通,接入地铁5号线杭氧站。居住、商业、文化等功能在此交汇,构建出多元融合的城市生活场景。此外,为平衡公共与私密,规划布局从南至北逐渐由商业氛围过渡至居住氛围,住宅建筑沿河展开,既有效降低道路及城市噪音的干扰,也为住户提供了开阔的视野与优质景观资源。

住宅立面呼应工业遗产保护街区的场所特质,金属铝板、玻璃与石材形成材质对比,体块穿插手法、线性语言及类似工字钢的细部,唤起人们对场地附近工业建筑的记忆;而窗边的暖色木纹勾边平衡了工业风的冷感,增添一份属于居住建筑的温馨。浅色形体上的弧形窗套略带古典韵味,赋予建筑厚重感与历史感。


Located along Dongshen Road, Hangzhou Kerry Center is an urban mixed-use complex developed by Kerry Properties, integrating the residential complex 'Fuyuan Court', serviced apartments, retail, office spaces, and a hotel. The eastern sector of the site comprises residential units, serviced apartments, Grade-A+ office towers, as well as market halls and street-level retail. The western sector is organized with enclosed retail pods, a hotel, and Grade-A+ office towers. GOA was responsible for the planning and architectural design of the eastern residential Fuyuan Court and the serviced apartments.

Flanking the project to the east and west are the historic Hangzhou Oxygen Plant and Hangzhou Boiler Factory complexes, both dating back to the 1950s. These industrial relics bear witness to the city’s industrial growth and transformation, forming a shared memory among longtime Hangzhou residents. Situated in the Wenhui subdistrict of Gongshu District, the project spans a total GFA of over 250,000 square meters. The site acts as a physical and symbolic link between the two former factory zones, positioned at the heart of the district government’s "Greater Heping Commercial Circle" plan. Given its central urban location and adjacency to historic industrial structures, the design responds sensitively to the surrounding context, carefully balancing public and private needs within a high-density mixed-use program, while preserving the industrial memory of the site.

The residential planning follows the overall masterplan principle of "fluidity and connectivity," yielding continuous public spaces to the city and establishing a pedestrian pathway linking the Hangzhou Boiler Factory area, retail zones, and Hangzhou Oxygen Plant area. Above ground, a semi-enclosed layout combining point and slab blocks is adopted. Elevated ground floors of residential towers allow seamless integration with adjacent retail streets. Underground, parking and retail spaces connect to Hangyang Station on Metro Line 5. This intersection of living, commerce, and culture fosters a diverse and integrated urban lifestyle. To balance public engagement with residential privacy, the plan transitions gradually from commercial ambiance in the south to a residential atmosphere in the north. Residential blocks are oriented along the river, reducing road and urban noise while providing residents with open views and high-quality landscape resources.

The residential facades respond to the industrial heritage character of the surrounding conservation district. Contrasting materials such as metal aluminum panels, glass, and stone are employed. Interlocking volumes, linear articulation, and I-beam-like detailing evoke the memory of nearby industrial architecture. Warm wood-grain trims around windows temper the coolness of the industrial aesthetic, introducing a residential warmth. Arched window surrounds on light-toned volumes add a subtle classical touch, lending the architecture a sense of solidity and historical depth.
