Greentown Jade Radiance is an upgraded application of Greentown’s “Yuehua” product line in Xi’an. Its core challenge: how to root the project in a 2,000-year-old capital while answering tomorrow’s ideals of living.

The north-high, south-low master plan gifts upper-zone units with Qinling-mountain views and sculpts a skyline that belongs to its setting. The podium opens on three sides to the city grid, absorbing community programs while serving the wider neighborhood; a transparent glass corner becomes a visual beacon and an interface of urban energy.

The design advances the “ Jade  ” signature motif—“Jade Tree”—into a systematic, inside-out hybrid of structure, ornament, and spatial definition. Scaled up at the main gate, the tree meets the grandeur of ancient Chang’an; in public areas it rises and falls to create layered “gray spaces” that naturally invite pause and conversation, turning the journey home into an immersive promenade of rest and discovery.

Guided by the concept “Layered Jade over Flowing Rivers,” the project uses jade as a cultural carrier, interpreting local culture through color and material. Low-saturation reds and warm beige dominate: “Chang’an Red” is distilled from Xi’an’s red jade and its emblematic pomegranate hue. Red-glazed terracotta panels and beige ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) establish a warm visual tone while meeting Xi’an’s climatic demands for durability. A red travertine feature wall at the entrance, with its natural sedimentary texture, reinforces the bond with the city’s weighty past.

Staggered south-facing terraces on alternating floors give both odd and even levels southern light and views; precisely calculated balcony screens block overlooking between neighbors.
