Huarun Changlong Wanbo Yuefu is located at the core of the Wanbo Business District in the southern extension of Guangzhou's new city axis, adjacent to the Changlong Resort and Changlong MixC. Both the Wanbo Yuefu residential community and its supporting kindergarten are designed by GOA. The recently opened "Park Lane Complex – Yunli," as the crowning touch and the final piece of the second phase of the residential community, represents a concentrated upgrade in product competitiveness. With "Vertical Oasis, Boundless Tranquility" as its core concept, the project relies on a private cluster layout, three-dimensional garden creation, and recessive architectural massing to create a relaxed daily life where nature and human habitation coexist within a bustling urban area.

"Park Lane Complex – Yunli" continues the resort atmosphere of Changlong, adopting a planning strategy of "small-scale development within a large project," with fine-grained construction of small clusters to create comfortable spatial scales and private community scenarios. Leveraging the natural topographic variation, the site raises the demonstration area by 6 meters, creating a floating island garden. The community connects the arrival sequence with seven core scenes, among which the "Oasis Lighthouse" establishes a sense of place with its iconic form. As the spiritual entrance of the residential community, it guides people from the bustling urban interface gradually into the garden realm. Along the route, the scale expands and contracts, the landscape layers progress, and materials transition, progressively slowing the arrival rhythm. White stone paired with metal lays out a clean and restrained spatial palette, completing a mood transition from urban bustle to garden tranquility through warm colors and textures.  

The design integrates nature into daily life in response to the Lingnan regional climate characteristics. Drawing on the idea of recessive ecological architecture, the design wraps buildings in greenery. The entrance takes advantage of the site's topographic variation, abandoning the traditional gate form and transforming into a hotel-style drop-off space merged into the landscape; a large-span cantilever of over 18 meters creates a column-free, open welcoming interface. The courtyards within the community follow the formal logic of unfolding, folding, and stacking, paired with three-dimensional landscapes such as sunken courtyards and vertical mountain forests, dissolving the boundary between architecture and nature. Under the hot, humid, and rainy climate conditions, the design uses water courtyards to assist in cooling and regulating the microclimate, and employs ground-floor pilotis and winding covered corridors to provide shaded and rain-sheltered pedestrian spaces, transforming the garden from viewable scenery into a comfortable place that accommodates daily activities.
