The much-anticipated Cityscape The Catania Nanjing has recently completed its public announcement. As the first entry of Chenjia Development's premium product line—"#Grand Palais"—into Nanjing, the project capitalizes on the rare resource of being "the first low-density residential site in the southern part of the city." With an ultra-low plot ratio of 1.2 and aligned creativity in master planning, product design, and visual identity, it redefines the artistic new form of fourth-generation residences.

Located in the core area of Qinhuai District, the master plan maximizes the site’s density potential. While creating a symmetrical and elegant spatial layout, it incorporates diverse product types such as stacked villas and flat-style villas, achieving rich volumetric layering and a natural transition in building heights. This approach opens up visual corridors between interior spaces and external landscape resources, creating a complex spatial relationship within a relatively pure master plan.

The architectural language of Grand Palais · Nanjing breaks through the conventional, rigid façade framework of traditional residential buildings. Taking "blooming" as its design motif, the project achieves a high degree of unity between functional solutions and formal innovation. It integrates the often-conflicting demands of privacy protection and equitable sightlines—typically challenging in fourth-generation residences—by unifying horizontal terraces and vertical visual management elements through the imagery of blooming petals. This creates a unique visual identity. Like an artistic flower that alternates in growth, stretching out naturally with rhythmic beauty and dynamic variation, the design not only showcases the visual impact of modern technological residences but also endows the architecture with dynamic spatial forms and artistic character. The blooming formal language also gives new expressive power and textural effects to materials such as metal, stone, and glass, allowing light, shadow, and time to participate in the process of the building's growth and blossoming.
